Company Reports Small Fire At Alcoa

Fire trucks were called to the Alcoa plant in Riverdale, Iowa, Tuesday morning, July 30, 2013.

A plant spokesman confirms there was a small fire that started while workers were cutting up scrap metal.

Apparently a spark ignited some hydraulic fluid and spread to a nearby piece of equipment.

The fire was put out quickly and no one was hurt.
