Sterling, IL Police Ask For Help Finding Gunshot Vandal

On Monday, August 5, 2013, just before midnight, Sterling Police were called to the 400 block of 16th Avenue for a report of possible gunshots fired.

Upon arrival, officers found two vehicles with windows that had been shot out.

Police say some witnesses heard as many as six or seven total shots.

Later that night, police responded to a report of at least one shot fired in the 600 block of 7th Street.

At that location officers found a vehicle with its front  side window that appeared to be shot out.
