Morrison, IL Police Arrest Man For Armed Robbery At Casey's

Morrison Police responded to an armed robbery at Casey's General Store, 602 E. Lincolnway, Morrison, Ill., around 3:12 a.m., on Friday, August 9, 2013.

Police say a single male suspect entered Casey's wearing a hooded jacket, mask, and socks on his hands and confronted the Casey's employee.

They say he then walked behind the counter toward the cash register, displayed a knife and forced the employee to open the cash register.  

He then removed the entire cash drawer with an undisclosed amount of cash and fled the scene.

Later that morning, at around 8:12 a.m., police arrested 26-year-old Tyler R. Engelkins, of Morrison.

Engelkins was charged with armed robbery and transported to the Whiteside County Jail.
