Fire crews in Moline, Ill., were called to the 2900 block of 16th Avenue, early Tuesday morning, August 13, 2013.

The Moline Fire Department was dispatched around 1:07 a.m. to a fire, they say affected seven automobiles, four garages and one house.

When crews arrived, they described a fast moving fire which had already fully engulfed two garages.

To prevent the spread of the fire, crews used their hoses to protect other nearby exposures, including additional homes.

Officials say they were able to extinguish the fire in 30 minutes.

The house involved sustained repairable damage to the exterior and smoke damage to the interior.

All residents of the nearby homes and homes effected by the fire were able to evacuate on their own.

According to officials, there were no civilian or fire fighter injuries.

Fire officials say the origin of the fire was inside the garage behind 2916 16th Ave.

The fire remains under investigation.
