Davenport, Iowa city leaders will once again be discussing the future of the Dock development project along Davenport's riverfront.

The lease for Raufeisen Development will be on the agenda Wednesday afternoon, August 14, 2013, at the Levee Improvement Commission meeting.

The development group's plan calls for a $27 million private investment in a four-story building housing restaurants and offices.

The developer says that height is necessary to get around the flooding issue, but some are concerned that height will block views.

Davenport city council will also be discussing the project at Wednesday night's city council meeting.

They plan to set a date for a public hearing on the project when they meet at 5:30 p.m. at City Hall.
