The Aledo Police Department is asking for help locating a pair of individuals being charged with home invasion and felony theft.

On Tuesday, August 13, 2013, around 6:15 p.m., police responded to a suspicious vehicle call in the area of S.W. 9th Avenue.

Upon arrival, police say the vehicle had left the area and couldn't be located.

A second 911 call alerted police to a residence where a man was found inside with injuries.

Police determined that several suspects had forced their way into the residence, assaulted the victim and committed theft.

The victim was taken to Genesis Hospital Aledo.

After further investigation, arrest warrants were issued on Wednesday, August 14, 2013, for 55-year-old Larry T. Rhoden of East Moline, Ill., and 44-year-old Karen C. Clark of Clarinda, Iowa.

Police ask that anyone with further information call Aledo Police at 309-582-2330 or Mercer County Crime Stoppers at 800-582-2762.
