On November 21, Michael Teague was sentenced to 30 months probation and 180 days in jail for Aggravated Robbery and indicating he had a firearm.
It was a case of perfect timing when Silvis Police say an officer stopped by a local business for a routine check and walked in on a robbery in progress.Around 3:30 a.m., on Friday, August 16, 2013, Officer Seth Rohweder of the Silvis Police department stopped at Gasland to check the business. As he walked toward the door, police say Michael Teague was running out the door with his hood up on his hooded sweatshirt, a red bandana covering his face and cash in his hands. According to police, the officer interrupted a robbery and arrested Teague. Police say an air soft handgun was found in the suspect's waistband and the store clerk reported he had brandished the gun and stolen money from the business.Teague was arrested and is scheduled to appear in court on Friday afternoon.
