Police in Clinton, Iowa were called to a residence in the 2400 block of North Second Street around 7:20 p.m., on Sunday, August 18, 2013, to a report of shots fired and two people being shot.

Upon arrival, police report that there were no gunshot victims, but a man had fired a handgun more than once inside the residence.

Police say 55-year-old Gerald Wayne Ledford of 2423 North Second St., was arrested for intimidation with a dangerous weapon, a class C felony.

According to police, occupants struggled with Ledford and were able to disarm him before police arrived.

Police say two people were injured at the residence. One refused medical attention and one was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
