There is an important safety recall that impacts some gun owners. Springfield Armory is recalling 3.3 XD-S 9 millimeter and .45 ACP pistols.

The manufacturer says the firearms need upgraded components to avoid unintended discharge during loading or possible double firing.

No injuries have been reported, but if you own one of the recalled guns, you are advised to stop using it and carefully unload it.

You can find out if your gun is part of the recall by checking the serial number and comparing it to the recall list.
