Burlington Police Make Friday Morning Meth Bust

Updated:

A one-pot meth-making operation was busted in Burlington Friday morning.
Police responded to a home in the 1100 block of Doemland St. and executed a search warrant. Five adults and two children were inside.
Burlington fire crews began HAZMAT operations and de-contaminated those who were exposed to the meth-making materials.
"It's in their safety and the safety of the community to make sure that all the particulates in the atmosphere that may have stuck to them are removed," said Lt. Jeff Klein, Burlington Police Department.
So far, officers have arrested 32-year-old Rachel Horn and 32-year-old Wilson Porter of Burlington. Horn was arrested for some warrants while porter is charged with possession of a controlled substance.
More charges and arrests are pending.
