K.V. Dahl III calls it his man cave.  Dahl  is referring to the building in Davenport where he and his father store about thirty six classic cars.

The collection is displayed in  a building similar to what a 1930's automobile dealership would look like.

There is a 1914 Model T Ford which still runs.  The 1934 car with wood paneling. That car is complete with side curtains.

A  1964 Mercury with a rear window which rolls down and up.

A 1953 Jaguar and a 1957 Cadillac are also part of the collection.

Five generations of Dahls have been involved in the automobile business, going back to about 1911.

K.V. says each car drives a bit different and acts a little bit different.

He should know. K.V. Dahl has driven every car in this unique collection. Several are originals.

Al Longmire is the mechanic; The Mister Fix It when it involves keeping these cars in top shape. He can just about take every car apart in the building  and put it back together again.

From the hood ornaments to the whitewall tires, these are some of the most stylish vehicles you'll see.

K.V. says he smiles every time he has the opportunity to drive one of these beauties.
