The City of Bettendorf says it will no longer provide leaf drop-off service on Saturdays under the I-74 Bridge.

They say this is due to decreased usage over the years.

The city will continue to offer weekly curbside yard waste collection to its solid waste customers.

Residents can get rid of their leaves and grass clippings by:

· Leaving grass clippings on the grass
· Mulching and/or composting grass or leaves  
· Placing yard waste materials in Kraft paper bags - "No Sticker" needed October 14 - November 30, 2013
· Taking any amount of yard waste materials to the Davenport Compost Facility at no charge - just bring proof of Bettendorf residency from October 12 - November 30, 2013
