This past weekend may have seen the end of Oktoberfest, the world's largest beer festival, but many Quad City area pet owners made the most of it.

Dozens of pups were strutting their stuff at the Bier Stube in LeClaire, Iowa for Dog-toberfest.

Money raised from the event will go toward improving Crow Creek Dog Park in Bettendorf, Iowa.

The head of the park, Kathy Behncke says it's a great event to bring your canine pal to.

"We're all crazy dog lovers, so we wanted to do something we could include our pets in."

Dogs and owners alike came decked out in costumes.

There was even a raffle and auction, along with plenty of German food.

The first 150 dogs received free doggie bags.
