A box truck from the D.A.V. Thrift Store in Davenport ended up stuck in the drive through of the MidwestOne Bank building in downtown Davenport Monday morning, October 7, 2013.

Davenport Police responded to 101 W 2nd St. around 5:49 a.m. to find the truck stuck with apparent damage to the truck and the building.

Police say the driver was not on scene when they arrived and after a preliminary investigation, the incident is being treated as a possible stolen vehicle.

KWQC-TV6 spoke with a representative from the Disabled American Veterans Thrift Store who confirmed the truck was stolen.

They said the truck went missing between Saturday night, October 5, 2013 and Sunday morning, October 6, 2013.

The incident is under investigation.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Davenport Police Department.

The D.A.V. Thrift Store raises money to support disabled veterans and their families.
