Davenport Fugitive Caught In Ohio


A fugitive from a Davenport, Iowa work-release facility has been caught in Ohio.

36-year-old Roger Clayton was serving a 20-year sentence on felony weapons charges that began in 2006.

In December 2012, Clayton was transferred to the Davenport work-release facility.

After leaving for work on February 1, 2013, he failed to return to the facility.

Clayton was on the run until early Thursday morning, October 17, 2013, when he was caught by police in Ohio.

The Preble County Sheriff's Department says he's was arrested and charged with felony possession of drugs, having weapons while under disability and misdemeanor possession of drugs.
