He is a favorite at the annual Festival of Trees Parade in downtown Davenport.

Dressed in his custom designed outfit,  and sitting in the back seat of his bright red car, Santa Claus has never missed this annual event which kicks off the start of the Holiday Season.

Mike Peppers is seventy years young, and has Christmas in his heart. He loves to see all of the smiling faces along the parade route, especially  the children.

Perched in the back seat of his Santa Mobile, he waves and sings along with the music which is blaring from his sleigh on wheels.

He also has an extensive collection of Santa items in his shop. Music boxes, ornaments, statues. In all, about three hundred items.

There is a lot of little kid in this jolly man who says Christmas should be every day of the year.

He also appears at charity events and parties in the Quad Cities.  Making Spirits bright.

When you see him at Saturday's parade, chances are he'll be smiling, waving, and  spreading good cheer!

Merry Christmas, Santa!!
