Search For Driver: Boy Struck In Davenport Hit And Run

Police are asking for help in finding a hit-and-run driver who struck a little boy while on his way to school. It happened on Monday, Nov. 18 2013, around 6:45 a.m. The 6-year-old boy was walking to his bus in the 3200 block of Shuetzen Lane when he was struck by a car. Police say the boy was taken to the hospital with very minor injuries.

The suspect vehicle is described as a smaller, boxy silver four-door sedan. The Davenport Crash Investigation Unit is investigating. Anyone with information can submit a tip using the city's new mobile app CityConnect Davenport, IA or calling (563) 888-3518.
