"Noon Year" Celebration At Family Museum

It was a packed house for a New Year's Celebration. Young kids and their parents had the chance to celebrate 2014 at noon instead of midnight.
The Family Museum in Bettendorf hosts the event each year so kids can feel involved in celebrating a New Year without having to stay up late.
"We thought it would be a great thing to have for families there was not a lot of things available in the Quad Cities for young families to do on New Year's Eve and every year it's been growing and growing," said Kim Kidwell, interim co-director of the Family Museum.

The festivities also included music, and activities. It's the museum's sixth year hosting the event.
