Davenport Police released the results of a year long investigation that links 30 commercial burglaries to three suspects.

Police say 20-year-old Joshua Hayes, 19-year-old Shane Smeltzer and 21-year-old Sean Russell were all arrested and charged with multiple counts of burglary.

The suspects are accused of using an all-terrain-vehicle to travel through creek beds, wooded areas and the bike path to access the businesses and then make a clean getaway.

Some of the businesses that were hit include the Sanchos Restaurant on Washington Boulevard and the Scott County Humane Society on West Central Park.

Police say they were able to develop patterns in the burglaries throughout the city and then shadow the suspects during a heist to make the arrests.

While these three Davenport residents face burglary charges, police say there could be additional arrests.
