Car Crashes Into State Rep.'s Davenport Home

Updated:

A car went out of control and crashed into a house on Thode Court in Davenport Thursday, Jan. 2, 2014. KWQC-TV has confirmed the house belongs to Iowa Rep. Cindy Winckler.

Winckler says she and her husband were home at the time. No one was hurt, but there is debris scattered across the lawn and big hole in her house. Now, they are trying to figure out what to do next.

Police say there were two people in the car. They think the driver may have suffered a medical problem and hit the accelerator. The car glanced one house and then hit the Winckler home. Both people in the car were taken to the hospital.
