The State of Illinois has designated dozens of Department of Human Services offices as warming centers for those in need of a warm place to stay during extreme weather conditions.

In Rock Island County, the public can visit the DHS office at 500 42nd St. Suit 6, second floor or the DHS office at 4711 44th St. Suite 3, both in Rock Island.

In addition, Moline Township, located at 620 18th Street in Moline will be a warming center for all those needing to come in out of the cold.  W

They will be open from 9 A.M. until 4 P.M. Monday thru Friday and will remain a warming center until this cold snap breaks.
