Rock Island Mayor Dennis Pauley will take a look at the past year and speak about what's in store for the future at his annual state of the city address.

The address is happening at the Quad City Botanical Center on Monday, January 13, 2014 at noon, during a joint meeting of the Rock Island Rotary and Kiwanis Clubs.

Mayor Pauley says he'll reflect on last year's accomplishments and point out opportunities for the new year.

The mayor will be using this as a warm-up as he also plans to give the speech at the City Council meeting Monday night.

The council meeting is open to the public.
