A Bettendorf couple was arrested after a search warrant at their home uncovered a marijuana grow operation.

It started when police responded to a medical call on January 7 at 2112 Olympia Drive in Bettendorf. They found marijuana in the residence, and after obtaining a search warrant, arrested James Lee Danielson, 69, and Vicky Lyn Danielson, 66, with one count each of manufacturing marijuana, possession with the intent to deliver, and failure to affix a drug tax stamp to the marijuana.

Officers located 61.7 grams of marijuana in prepackaged bags, 69.11 grams of loose marijuana, seven marijuana plants, and a marijuana grow lab.  Officers also found drug paraphernalia.

Both James Lee Danielson, husband, and Vicky Lynn Danielson, wife, were released from Scott County Jail after posting $10,000 bond each.
