A Davenport man is under arrest after police say he abused a woman and held her against her will.

Police were called to Genesis East Hospital at 6:38 a.m. on Thursday, January 16, 2014 to investigate a female reporting she had been assaulted numerous times and had been held her against her will in a hotel/motel in Davenport.

The alleged victim told police the incident started around 9:30 p.m. on January 15, 2014 and continued for nearly 9 hours until she was finally able to get away.

The suspect then fled in the female's car.

Police say 26-year-old Aaron Lee Stinde was arrested on Friday morning, January 17, 2014 and charged with kidnapping first degree, three counts of sex abuse 2nd degree, domestic assault - impeding air flow, and operating a motor vehicle without owner's consent.
