Airplane Makes Emergency Landing In Milan, IL

Two people escape without injury when their plane made an emergency landing in Milan, Ill. Sunday night, January 26, 2013.

The small plane went down in a field off of 32nd Avenue East near a residential area.

People inside their homes saw it happen and called 9-1-1.

State police say the plane was flying from Davenport, Iowa to Moline, Ill. when it experienced engine failure.

There was minimal damage when it touched down.

The incident remains under investigation.
