    A Fruitland man recovering from a rare form of bone cancer is getting his wish.The Kids Wish Network is sending Zach Painter to Chicago's Soldier Field where he and his family will watch Sunday's Bears game and meet the players. 8:00 a.m. Update: Bridge is now open and traffic is moving freely in both directions after the bridge was treated with what appeared to be salt.

Officials still say motorists should use caution when traveling this morning.

UPDATE: All lanes in both directions have been closed to assist cleanup crews.

Police say this morning's crash is related to icy road conditions on the bridge

Officials are urging motorists to use an alternate route during their morning commute or use extreme caution while the situation is remedied.  

Police say the Illinois Department of Transportation has been contacted regarding the road conditions.

There is no word yet on when the bridge was last treated for ice.

ORIGINAL: A two car accident on the Centennial Bridge has delayed traffic on Tuesday morning, January 28, 2014.

The accident happened around 6:15 a.m. in the Iowa-bound lanes.

Officials say there are minor injuries.

Traffic at this time is blocked as crews tend to the victims.
