A landmark Moline restaurant is closing. Owners of the Belgian Village Inn announced they are calling it quits and Saturday, Feb. 1, 2014 will be their last day of business.

In a letter, the owners explained they are closing both locations of the business for health reasons. They purchased the longtime business in 1997.

Known as the home of the VandeReuben, the Belgian Village Inn is famous for its huge Reuben and other sandwiches that are simply too big to hold with two hands.
