Wanted: Moline Man Suspect In Two Sexual Assaults

Moline police have announced they have issued a warrant for a 29-year-old man wanted in a pair of sexual assaults. Police have identified Ervin James Conner of Moline with sexually assaulting two women, one in 2007 and another during a home invasion in 2013.

In a news release, police say the first case of rape was investigated by the Rock Island Police Department. In the second case, Conner is accused of entering a home in Moline on Oct. 6, 2013 and committing a sexual assault on a female resident. In that case, he faces charges of home invasion and aggravated criminal sexual assault.

An arrest warrant was issued Feb. 11, 2014, the same day charges were filed. Conner is currently at-large. Please contact the Moline Police Department at 797-0401 or Crime Stoppers at 762-9500 with information on Conner's whereabouts.
