Fixing Area Pot Holes

Posted: Updated:

A few days with some warmer temperatures are giving area public works crews some time to fix up roads.

We found workers along Brady Street in Davenport.

"We're just going down and finding the worst holes that area out there, sweeping them out, getting the water out that we can and putting a temporary fix in with the cold mix until we can get our hot plant batch going," Rick McAninch of the Davenport public works street department said.

He says once the temperatures get above 35 or 36 degrees consistently they can really start working on these fixes but this will at least help, for now.
