More than eight weeks since she went missing, family and friends held a candlelight vigil for Carrie Olson.

They gathered at Saint Paul the Apostle Church in Davenport to pray and share their hope the 29-year-old will be found soon.

Olson was last seen at a Rock Island gas station on December 28, 2013.

Since then, her loved ones have continued to search for answers.

They set up a Facebook page, searched local parks and on Sunday evening, February 23, 2014, held this vigil.

"I think people feel somewhat paralyzed at times like this. There's so many unknowns," says Father Tony Herold.

"And so tonight the goal is just to gather people together and to lift candles of hope. To turn to God and show support to the Olson family during this time."
