Missing Kewanee Teen Found

UPDATE: The missing teen from Kewanee, Ill. has been found.

Kewanee Police issued a statement Friday morning saying Taniya Gromm is in Kewanee Police custody.

Taniya's mother told KWQC that she turned herself in to police and is in good health.

No other details have been reported.

ORIGINAL: A 16-year-old girl with a history of running away, is missing. But this time, police are concerned and asking for help from the public in finding her. 

Police are searching for Taniya Gromm. She has been missing since Feb. 17, 2014. Her family reported Taniya as a runaway, but police say she hasn't used her phone since the night she disappeared. Police say they have followed up on several leads without any luck in finding her.

Taniya was last seen wearing a camouflage coat, black and white hoodie, white shirt, blue jeans, gray and white scarf and gray boots. She left her home in the 1800 block of Lake Street, Kewanee at approximately 12:45 am.
