Galesburg Traffic Stop Leads To Pot Arrest

A man driving through Galesburg was pulled over and subsequently arrested for cannabis trafficking.

On February 24, 2014 a Galesburg officer conducted a traffic stop of a 2004 GMC Yukon on I-74. A canine alert led to the seizure of approximately 145 pounds of cannabis.

David G. Joseph of West Virginia was arrested and charged with manufacture delivery of cannabis (over 5000 grams) and cannabis trafficking (over 5000 grams).

Joseph appeared in Knox County court on February 26, 2014 and his bond was set at $150,000.
