Businesses have already started setting up for the KWQC-TV6 Women's Health & Lifestyle Fair that runs March 1 and 2 at the RiverCenter in Davenport.

The fair's coordinator, Nick Davis, said this year's fair will be bigger than ever before.

For the first time, booths and exhibits will be set up in both the Great Hall and the Mississippi Hall.

Genesis Health System will have experts on hand in the Mississippi Hall doing screenings and answering questions about health issues ranging from, sleep, to weight, to heart health.

One topic that's fairly new to people that will also be discussed at Genesis' booths is genetic testing for breast health.

"With breast health, genetic testing and your family history is extremely important," said Craig Cooper with Genesis Health System. "We saw what Angelina Jolie did, she had an elective double mastectomy because of her family history and a presence of a genetic marker. There'll be a genetics expert here to talk to you about whether you should get a genetic screening."

On the traditional side of the fair, the Great Hall, there will be a stage for live fitness demo and a USO-style show led by Gary Metiver.

Former American Idol winner Ruben Studdard will also take the stage Saturday at 2 p.m. and will sign autographs from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m.

The hours are Saturday, 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. and Sunday, 12:00 Noon - 4:00 p.m.

Admission is a $1 donation to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure Quad Cities and you're asked to bring one canned good to help community food pantries.
