Davenport PD Asks Citizens To Rate Encounters

Posted: Updated:

The Davenport Police Department wants you to rate your interaction with officers by participating in an anonymous survey.

It is part of the National Police Research Platform's Police Community Interaction survey administered by the University of Chicago.

The survey is designed to collect information to help police with procedures and approaches with the hope to improve police services in the community.

If a police report is filed and citations or warnings are issued, a letter will be sent to community members asking them to survey. It can be taken online, by phone or by scanning a QR code. The responses are managed by UIC researchers.

The department hopes those that receive the letter will provide honest feedback in the survey.
