Forty seven years ago, as a school project, Trish beganwriting to a pen pal in South Australia. Her name is Shauna Gejas.

The two were young girls at the time. Now, both are married, have children, and are approaching sixty years of age.

Over the years they have exchanged hundreds of letters.Pictures of their children. Sent each other gifts.

However, they had never met until last October.

Trish's daughter was getting married in North Carolina, andShauna decided to attend the wedding.
