Clinton Looks To Regulate E-Cigarettes

Posted: Updated:

Debate over the use of electronic cigarettes is picking up steam.

The Clinton County Board of Supervisors discussed banning e-cigarettes and other nicotine vapor smoking devices from ever Clinton County building. The board will now vote on the proposal Monday, March 17, 2014.

The City of Clinton already has a smoking ban in public parks during children's sporting events and the State of Iowa is considering a bill that would not allow minors to use or buy e-cigarettes. The legislation just passed a committee and is now up for debate on the Senate floor.

Right now, there are no restrictions on buying e-cigarettes in Iowa.
