RAW VIDEO: Fiery Dust Devil

Posted: Updated:

Colorado firefighters encounter a rare fiery dust devil, and it was all caught on tape. Look at what happened one week ago, during a controlled 150-acre burn at the Rocky Mountain Arsenal National Wildlife Refuge, just northeast of Denver.
Firefighters say everything was going well until all of a sudden a dust devil, a whirlwind of air into which dust and debris gets caught up, formed nearby.
It then swept fire and tumbleweeds into the air, making it very dangerous for the crews on the scene -- and burning an extra acre.
