Davenport Ice Cream Shop Vandalized

Posted: Updated:

Davenport police say The Sweet Delite Ice Cream Shoppe in the west end had a brick go through a window. The owner reported the incident on the morning of March 24th.
The broken window sent glass all along the front of the stores door.
He thinks this is just someone vandalizing his store instead of trying to break in

"and evidently was trying to get in and do whatever," Sweet Delite Ice Cream Shoppe owner Bruce Goucher said. "Could have been vandalism or whatever but it's definitely a mess."

He says the store was just recently stocked with ice cream and none of it was stolen.
The ice cream shop is not open for Spring.
