DARIEN, GA -

Two semis collided shortly after 7:30 Tuesday morning on I-95 with one of the vehicles spilling dozens of cases of beer along the roadway.

The incident that involved Budweiser and Bud Light beer happened near mile marker 47 northbound close to Darien in McIntosh County.

The driver of the truck hauling the beer has been identified as 53-year-old Mark Wright, of Knoxville, TN.

Officials say around Wright was traveling NB on I-95 when he sideswiped another tractor trailer driven by 48-year-old Kano Mohamed, of Snellville, Ga.

Mohamed had previously parked his rig on the side of the road when his brakes locked up.

Georgia State Patrol says Mohamed had put out the correct warning signals to alert motorist. As a result, Wright has been charged with failure to maintain his lane.

Neither driver was seriously hurt.
