Insanity Workout

It's the craze in DeWitt. Exercise with attitude. TheInsanity Workout has become extremely popular. The only equipment you need isyour body.

Heidi Woodford is a certified instructor, and says classesare being taught six days a week at the DeWitt Fitness Center.

The thirty minute class consists of a series of three minuteexercises, with  thirty second breaks to cool down.

Heidi says this program helped to save her life. Less thantwo years ago, Heidi almost lost her life when she got hit in the head by asoftball. She ended up in intensive care in Iowa City.

When she got out of the hospital, she could not run or talk. She says being introduced to Insanity Workout floored the doctors at Iowa City.

She defied the odds. Started speaking and was able tofunction.

Heidi and her close friend Katie Goldensoph became certifiedinstructors. Heidi credits the exercise program with helping to save her life. She says it helped her to focus mentally on a daily challenge. It brought abouta lifestyle change.

She lost weight, going from 209 pounds to 137.

An Insanity Workout whose zest for exercise and lifeinspires others in her class to "bring It."
