Victory Party For Davenport Gold Medal Paralympian

A paralympic sled hockey player is expected back home Friday afternoon from the games in Sochi.

Kevin McKee, of Davenport has been disabled from the waist down since birth and was on the U.S. hockey team that beat Russia for gold on March 15, 2014. It was his first time competing in the paralympic games. Andy Yohe of Bettendorf was also on the winning team, and returned home last week.

A victory pizza party, thrown by family and friends, will be held for Kevin McKee at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 29 at Rookies Sports Bar and Grill in Davenport.
