A new eaglet has hatched in the Quad Cities.

Viewers of the Alcoa EagleCam celebrated as Liberty and Justice's lone eaglet for 2014 broke from its shell around 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, April 2, 2014.

The Alcoa EagleCam is located along the Mississippi River at Alcoa's Davenport Works in Bettendorf and Riverdale, Iowa.

Another popular eagle watching webcam is in Decorah, Iowa.

Officials with the Decorah EagleCam also announced a new eaglet that hatched this morning.

The Decorah eagles welcomed the first of three Wednesday morning around 9:22 a.m.

There are still two more eggs in this nest so who knows, maybe you'll be able to watch the next eaglet hatch live.
