Burn Ban For Jackson County Iowa

A burn ban is in effect for Jackson County Iowa.

In a statement released by the Department of Public Safety, the Sate Fire Marshall finds the conditions in Jackson County are such that open burning constitutes a danger to life or property.

Effective April 8, 2014 at 8:00 a.m., burning is prohibited until further notice.
