Tuesday is Tax Day and the deadline to file your 2013 tax returns is midnight. Anyone who owes the government money and doesn't meet the deadline will have to pay a fine.

But for those who do make the deadline, and even for those who don't, several businesses are offering special tax day deals and freebies as a reward.

Arby's is giving away snack-sized orders of its curly fries, when you print a coupon from the company's website.

In honor of the 1099 tax form, pizza fans can order a large pizza from Pizza Hut and a side for $10.99 online-only today if they enter the promo code "taxday."

And as a tribute to the 1040 form, you can get 13 bagels and two tubs of cream cheese at Bruegger's Bagels for $10.40 through an offer on its Facebook page.

Meantime, Sonic is offering half price drinks and slushies to customers on tax filing day.

The average taxpayer this year is estimated to get a refund of about $2,800 this year.

But H&R Block expects many people will leave some of that money they're owed on the table by making a mistake on their return or missing a possible deduction.

A tax attorney with H&R Block says it found about half of people who file their own returns make mistakes on them and about one in five of those people actually missed out on about $500 they were owed.

Accountants say if you do owe money and know you won't meet today's deadline, you can file an extension.
