Several area cities, counties and police departments are taking part in the National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day on April 26th. 

Police departments around the country, as well as locally, are seeing a large increase in the abuse of prescription drugs. The National Drug Take-Back Day will provide a unified opportunity for the public to surrender expired, unwanted, or unused pharmaceutical controlled substances and other medications to law enforcement officers for destruction.
