She is five years old, has a twin brother, and is a very

Sydney Mowen is a fighter. She was born with a congenital

the Mowen's and their children went to Disney World, courtesy of Make A Wish
During the trip, the children rode amusements, met with the
Disney characters, and Sydney was treated like a princess.
Sydney's life depends on a pacemaker. One of her heart
valves was donated.
Her pulmonary valve was re-arranged.
Little Niklas is in great health.
The Mowens' grandparents live in Moline.
The family wants people to know that there is hope for
children born with CHD. That there are options to correct heart defects and
enhance a child's quality of life.
