Two Injured In Andalusia Motorcycle Accident

UPDATE: Police have released the names of the riders injured in the Sunday night motorcycle accident near Ducky's Lagoon in Andalusia, Ill.

They say Cory Yetter and Jeffrey Rubens, both of Eldridge, Iowa, received non-life threatening injuries at the accident.

ORIGINAL: Two people were hurt after a motorcycle accident in Andalusia on Andalusia Road Sunday night.

It happened near Ducky's Lagoon around 9:00 p.m., April 20, 2014.

Police say the two bikes were headed eastbound when one of them went to turn into Ducky's.

The other bike did not turn, and the two collided.

Both riders were thrown from their bikes.

Police say neither was wearing a helmet and both have head injuries.

Both riders were men form Eldridge, Iowa.

Officials say neither of the men's injuries are life threatening.
