Pitbull, Million Dollar Quartet Added To Illinois State Fair

Posted: Updated:

The acts at the Illinois State Fair will sure be diverse. Rapper Pitbull and the Chicago cast of "Million Dollar Quartet" have been added to the entertainment offerings at the Illinois State Fair Grandstand.

They join the already-announced Florida Georgia Line, Hunter Hayes and Jake Owen as well as rock legends Boston and Steely Dan.

"This entertainment line-up proves that there truly is something for everyone at this year's Illinois State Fair," Governor Pat Quinn said in a release. "A concert in the State Fair Grandstand is a great way to spend a summer evening."

The 2014 Grandstand concert series opens Friday, Aug. 8 when the American Idol Live! Tour rolls into Springfield.

"This year's entertainment is going to be something you don't want to miss," State Fair Manager Amy Bliefnick said in a release. "From the first night to the last, the acts are top-notch. I'm looking forward to great shows and memorable performances."
