Another House Fire In Galesburg

Firefighters were kept busy with another fire at an unoccupied house in Galesburg, Ill. Tuesday night.

The call came in around 9:48 p.m. to 683 W. South St.

Firefighters found fire on both floors of the large home when they arrived on scene.

Battalion Chief Chip Timmons says the fire took three hours to put out.

The house was vacant when firefighters arrived and there were no injuries reported to responders at the scene.

The fire remains under investigation.

Chief Timmons says they are looking at possible connections to recent fires at a couple of vacant buildings in Galesburg.
