The bomb squad was called and some students were evacuated after a box was left at the loading dock at Davenport West High School.

According to the Davenport Community School District, the box had undisclosed wording on it and it appeared to be suspicious. The school police liaison officer called in the bomb squad while officials viewed surveillance video. They were able to identify the individuals who put the box there. As it turns out, the box was empty.
